Workaround for Group Assignments with Copyleaks

Copyleaks does not currently support group assignments. However, you have two workaround options:

Option 1: Manual Scanning Create a group assignment folder without Copyleaks enabled. Have one student from each group submit the assignment to this folder. After submissions are complete, download the files and run them through the teacher scanner tool to check for originality.

Option 2: Dual Assignment Folders Set up two assignment folders:

• A group assignment folder (without Copyleaks) linked to your gradebook for grading
• An individual assignment folder with Copyleaks enabled for originality checking

Students submit to the group folder as usual, and you can grade there. Use the individual folder to review Copyleaks scores as needed, while keeping all official grading in the group folder.
